The most regrettable outcome of following an authoritarian path to obtaining power and influence and power is the lesser-educated white American male who decided that Trump would increase THEIR power and PRIVILEGE in society at the expense of people who are somehow "different" or not “from here”, will be the first to pay the price if Trump follows through on an election comment, "to engage Iran over its nuclear enrichment program".
The young people who have embraced the authoritarian leadership will be the ‘pool’ from which the conscription of young white soldiers will be derived.
The self-satisfying legitimizations of power and privilege based on the removal of ethnicity over perceived citizenship will become the basis of study in the coming decades.
As the world futilely tries to locate any trace of the individuals who were deported back to the peril which caused them to originally seek asylum in the United States, the true cost of nationalism will become evident.
